Steve Ward of Coppell, Texas, was crowned Grand Champion, fishing with Capt. Rick Murphy of Homestead, as 25 anglers competed in last week's 49th Annual Gold Cup Tarpon Tournament, based out of The Lorelei in Islamorada.

Ward and Murphy caught two weight fish and nine releases for a total of 3,124 points.
