“42 dog bite-related fatalities occurred in 2014 in the U.S. Pit bulls contributed to more than half (27) of these deaths. Pit bulls make up about 6 percent of the dog population in the U.S., but still are responsible for 67 percent of human deaths from dog attack. Non fatal bites, also more than half. Chihuahuas? Not one. Ever.”
