Hey I wonder if this means we will see more or less pictures of Randy in that feel good conch magazine that has his picture on almost every page.

So far all we hear about is the supers wife using the credit card for her own purchases. What about other employees? I would bet that once they all knew she was doing it that so would some others start charging their own stuff. Have the auditors checked the other cards? Or is that what Ward will do? What about the FBI can we get them to look at this stuff? Well I guess the district motto is WHATEVER WE CAN TAKE

I am not a conch, but have many friends that are, and they are honest and hard working ones to. What we have here at the school district is a concentrated number of people who are in this for themselves and have no care for the children. Some of them are conchs and some arent. The one thing they all share is they are crooked. Please don't paint all conchs as being dishonest, because I can assure you my conch friends are all embarrassed by this and hope that Randy and his cronies all do the right thing and resign

Maybe Randy issued a credit card to everyone of the administrators that campaigned for him. I hope that the previous superintendents weigh in and tell us whether they allowed personal purchases on the cards. Somehow I think they were a bit smarter than that, and I bet they had far less people with credit cards.

We need to hire Sonny McCoy as arbiter of all Conch ethical challenges. Don't you out-of-towners understand that Conchs are above the law and entitled to feed at the public trough . . .? Conchs contribute so much to the community they are entitled to some perks. How could Code Enforcement shake down citizens without conchs and the years of blind double dipping of Special Master Overby? How could Ed Swift sustain and defend a municipal monopoly like the Conch Train with out the bubba system? How could a real estate agent who has never sold a house become mayor and a developer without any experience without the support of the conch community? How else could a struggling young attorney with scant experience suddenly get all of that school board work, start his own firm, and then become city attorney? How would we count the cash from the parking meters?How could [school board member Steve Pembroski] have the nerve to question someone else's credit card fraud given his own travails in the appliance business? What other than a bubba school board which spends more per student than any other continue to pump out more conch voters well prepared for a career in municipal nepotism? How would the city and county sheriffs and police departments run if it were not for the conch code of ethics? How would the Toppinos get all of those no bid contracts? How would the Housing Authority hand out pension and health and welfare to their own while parking valuable property off the tax roles until a bubba developer is ready to develop the land? How would the Spottswoods fair if they had to face the permitting and variance process of we mere citizens? And the Aqueduct Authority and Keys Electric??? Can there be better examples of cost effective and productive conch work ethic this side of any city and county government office??? And some say the conchs don't serve the community well. The conchs have a long and honored tradition of community self-service and here I've enumerated just a few ... so stop picking on them for just a few isolated coincidences. And don't forget their support groups. They couldn't continue these prosperous traditions without the compliant sophistry of the local press and our local justice system (how's Harry Bethel's son's arson prosecution progressing?) Kiss a conch today thank him for all he does for the community each day ..... and then just hand over your wallet.
