So what about other professionals who wish to take photos

of the event? Why are we not allowed close enough to do so? Are we going to have to buy photos from the selected few?

This is a dangerous operation! What part of public safety do you not understand? Maybe the should allow you to be onboard during the sinking!!

a mile is a bit far for those of us who've supported this thing, who know boating and diving, and who wish to take our own pictures. We're not wanting to be beside it, but this one-mile thing is a bit over-the-top if you ask me. If you look at what was nearby when the Spiegel sunk and when the A Busch sunk, it was clearly NOT a one-mile perimeter and all seemed to survive.
