Keia Hughes supplies 7-for-7 bat for Rick's Bail Bonds

KEY WEST - Keia Hughes was 7-for-7 with a home run, triple and five RBI, while Garrett Beam and Scott Beam each had five hits to lead Rick's Bail Bonds to a 21-7 win over the Key West Golf Club. Garrett Beam had five RBI and Scott Beam drove in four runs in Key West Coed Softball League action last week at Pepe Hernandez Field.

Karen Cabanas drove in four runs via a triple and three base hits, Jason Burt singled twice and slugged a two-base hit and a three-base hit. Brant Voss and Liz Podlucky each singled three times, Nick Pace roped a pair of two-base hits and Kelly Kirk added a base hit.

For the golfers, Paulina Smith doubled and singled twice, Randy Okum smacked a two-base hit and a base hit as Bart Smith and Justina Czerniewska each stroked a pair of hits. Chris Bridger doubled as Andy Kempel, Patrick Flannigan and Dustin Hunter singled.

CONCH FARM 12, RUM BARREL 11

Amber Davis tripled and singled twice for three RBI, Angela Robb had an inside-the-park home run, double and a single and Dave Holtz doubled twice and tripled for Conch Farm. Veronica Brown slugged a two-base hit and a base hit, Michelle Citon singled twice, Jill Cipriano doubled and Mickey Wojtowicz and Pat Brady each added a base hit.

For Rum Barrel, Shia Marzetti drilled a pair of doubles and singled, Jodi Turzo and Angelina Maltese both ripped a two-base hit and two base hits, Layne Thrasher drove in three runs on three hits, Jeff Sorg (double) and Scott Donald each hammered two hits, Kate Wright and Tony DePasquale both bashed a two-bagger and Caesar Davila and Lauren Pazo each gapped a base hit.

AMY'S LIQUOR STORE 15, L.O.S.E.R.S. 10

David Rodriguez was 5-for-5 and Bobby Lopez doubled twice and singled twice for four RBI, juicing Amy's Liquor Store. David Sweeting doubled twice and slammed a base hit for three RBI, Eugene Nelson drilled a two-base hit and two base hits, Ginny Matea singled three times, Jennifer Norat rammed two base hits and Jeannie Lopez singled.

For the L.O.S.E.R.S., Howie Schneider homered inside the park, tripled and singled and Dave Holtz bashed a trio of two-base hits. Ashleigh Albright had an inside-the-park homer and doubled, Bridget Wood tripled and Sean Morales nailed a pair of doubles, Thomas Haas singled twice and Fatz Yaniz nailed a base hit.

KEY WEST REALITY INC. 11, MEL FISHER 9

Jim Guynn, Robin Tomita (2 doubles) and Bridget Wood (double and triple) had three hits apiece for the realtors. Patti Sprague thumped a three-base hit and a base hit, Ken Dispenza singled twice as Jessica Wybensinger, Cory Wybensinger and the ageless Joe Rozzero cracked a single.

Sharon Wiley doubled twice and singled as Star Fisher and Sean Fisher each singled twice to lead their team at the plate. Jordon Todaro and Elizabeth Patrick walloped two hits apiece as Dylan Kibler, Elise Todaro, Bob Maun and Darnell Henderson all added a base hit.

SWEETWATER HOMES 13, STICK AND STEIN 12

Drew Emery was 4-for-4, John Sweeting drilled a two-base hit and two base hits and J.W. Cooke stung three singles, pacing the builders with the hammer.

Jaylan Krause, Mary Piszker, David Jackson and Shirnell Schume each singled twice as Sue "Mrs." Cooke and Brianna Erickson each hammered a base hit for the winners.

Bobby Lopez drove in three runs on a pair of doubles and a single and Ginny Matea and Maritza Lamberson slapped three singles each for the Stick. James Knowles doubled and singled, Paul Cassidy and Jeannie Lopez each had two hits and Darren and Jennifer Norat each singled.

BIG UNS SPORTS BAR 17, ROTARY 1

Radier Gonzalez was 3-for-3 for Big Uns, Brian Barrios doubled and tripled, Tina Godfrey drove in three runs on a double and single, Samantha Smithwick thumped a three-base hit and a base hit, Melissa Pietruzka singled twice, Paul Sanchez doubled and Donny Barrios and Sabrina Smithwick both hammered out a hit.

Rotary's Dave Van Loon singled twice, Jim Brooks, Karen Cabanas, Eric Swary, Chris Huges (double) and Maritza Lamberson each had a hit.

ANDY GRIFFITHS CHARTER 10

Ben Blattenberger was 4-for-4, Tangela Thurston (double) and Chuck Malby each slapped a pair of hits for T&W. Dylan Kibler drove home four runners on a triple and a base hit as Shia Marzetti, Darnell Henderson, Chris LeMay, Harry Milliken and Sharon Wiley racked up two hits each and Shannon Milliken nailed a base hit.

Michelle Citon was 4-for-4 for Andy Griffiths, Paul Sanchez and Eddie Griffiths each singled three times, Dave Holtz and Lara Ruskin each corked a double and a single as Samantha Smithwick doubled and Paul Gardner and Keia Hughes each singled.

IRISH KEVIN'S 8, COWBOY BILLS 5

Doug McKenzie tripled twice and singled, Angela Robb stroked a three-base hit and two base hits, Patti Sprague drilled a double and two singles and Sue Hofstra and Robin Tomita each lined three singles for Irish Kevin's. Jim Guynn singled twice, Ken Dispenza and Matt McLellan both doubled and Amber Davis singled.

For Cowboy Bills, Neil Mellies, Ariana Corsi and R.J. Laskey singled two times apiece, Jose Santiago doubled, Brian Barrios, Tina Godfrey, Maritza Lamberson and Brandon Druckenmiller gapped one hit each and Chrissy Lewis crushed a pitch into the leftfield net for a home run.

SPORTS PAGE 15, HALF SHELL RAW BAR 7

Sammie Bagdsarian hammered four doubles and Radier Gonzalez singled four times for Sports Page. Scott Donald doubled twice and singled, Becki Balcer sliced three singles, Bridget Wood tripled and doubled, Marlon Manresa thumped a three-base hit and a base hit, Howie Schneider, Karen Cabanas and Fatz Yaniz rapped two hits each and ChiChi Rodriquez homered inside the park.

For Half Shell, Joe Meier and Brandon Jones each had three base hits, Marissa Ludwig, Veronica Brown (double) and Christine Bell (double) each banged a pair of hits and Briley Tomlinson added a base hit.
