KEY WEST -- Doug McKenzie stroked an inside-the-park home run and singled, Robin Tomita ripped a pair of two-baggers, Patti Sprague nailed a two-base hit and a base hit and Amber Davis singled twice powering Irish Kevin's to a 7-5 win over Sports Page in the battle of the downtown watering holes last week in the Key West Coed Softball League.

Sharon Wiley nailed a home run inside the park for a trio of RBI and Ken Dispenza and Dave Heathcock both cracked pair of base hits in the win.

Sports Page hitters Tori Solano and Paul Gardner each hammered three singles, Howie Schneider and Brant Voss singled two times apiece, Marlon Manresa thumped a triple, Eddie Griffiths doubled as Veronica Brown, Lauren Wells and Karen Cabanas added a base hit.

ROTARY 9, MEL FISHERS 6

Jamie Baker drove in four runs on three hits, Lauren Pazo and Chris Huges slugged three hits apiece for Rotary. Brant Voss, Chad Salinero and Maritza Lamberson drilled two base hits apiece.

Elizabeth Patrick doubled and singled twice, Sharon Wiley and Ginny Matea each ripped three hits, Darnell Henderson singled twice and Dylan Kibler, Chris LeMay, Rick Haveland and Bob Maun each hit singles for Mel Fishers.

BIG UNS SPORTS BAR 7,

STICK & STEIN 2

Ariana Corsi, Brian Barrios and Radier Gonzalez showed they had some big ones (hits) with the bat stroking two apiece for Big Uns.

With one hit each was Dexter Butler, Lauren Pazo, Donny Barrios, Sabrina Smithwick and Mellissa Pietruzka.

Stick Harper was 3-for-3 for Stick and Stein, Brittney Burgess doubled and singled as Maritza Lamberson and Drew Pajaro both had a hit.

CONCH FARM 7, L.O.S.E.R.S. 5

The L.O.S.E.R.S were losers but not by much as Conch Farm just pulled out the win. Terry Worthington doubled twice, Ron Cipriano cracked a two-base hit and a base hit, Amber Davis slugged a pair of base hits as Jill Cipriano, Angela Robb, Mikey Wojtowicz, Michelle Citon and Eric Whitten each added a base rap.

Jeremiah Periard was 3-for-3 for the losers, Maritza Lamberson smoked a pair of base hits, Veronica Brown and Howie Schneider both crushed a double and Thomas Haas managed to single.

KEY WEST GOLF CLUB 10

Shia Marzetti was 5-for-5 with a homer in the park and five RBI for Rum Barrel. Michelle Citon drove in three runs via a three-bagger and two base hits, Cesar Davila thumped a triple and two singles, Ginny Matea smacked three base hits, Scotty Donald tripled and doubled home three runs, Rich Baker hammered a double and a single, Jeff Sorg, Brian Maltese and Tony DePasquale each singled twice and Angelina Maltese and Jodi Turzo both nailed a single.

Andy Kempel led the golfers at the plate going 4-for-4, Kelly Malone doubled and singled twice for four RBI, Nick Travado cracked two base hits, Patrick Flannigan, Christine Poist (double) and Chrissy Lewis each slugged two hits as Lewis sailed the ball over the left field fence. Dustin Hunter and Chris Bridger each had a base hit.

Jennifer Norat, Bird Randolph and Eugene Nelson each had four hits leading Amy's Liquor as Bobby Lopez doubled and tripled home three runs, the David Duo of Rodriguez and Sweeting each clubbed three base hits, Ginny Matea and Glenda Nelson both singled twice and Jeannie Lopez and Donna Rosado each singled.

Keia Hughes was 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double and four RBI, Jason Burt homered in the park and singled twice, Emma Harlow ripped two base hits as Garrett Beam, Nick Pace, Karen Cabanas, Alan Grove and Liz Podlucky each singled.

KEY WEST REALTY 13, SWEETWATER HOMES 3

The realtors foreclosed on the builders led by Brittney Burgess and Amber Davis, who stroked a two-base hit and two hits each. Patti Sprague tripled and singled, Matt McLellan, Jim Guynn and Ken Dispenza (double) each hammered a pair of hits, Bridget Wood doubled home three runs, Darnell Henderson and Joe Rozzero each hammered a door closed with a base hit.

Jaylynn Krause and Mary Piszker each singled twice as John Sweeting, Ginny Matea, Drew Emery and David Jackson each nailed a single.

ANDY GRIFFITHS CHARTER 9,

HALF SHALL RAW BAR 8

Eddie Griffiths was 4-for-4 highlighted with a three-base hit and a two-base hit for the seafaring crew. Clinton Storr doubled and singled twice sending four runners home, Michelle Citon sliced three singles, Lara Ruskin cracked a pair of base hits and Keia Hughes (double), Paul Gardner and Maritza Lamberson had one hit apiece.

Half Shell's Eric Schaaf, Shia Marzetti (double) and Tom Guida shucked two hits apiece and Briley Tomlinson, Brandon Jones and Veronica Brown each hit a pearl of a shot.
