Fourth of July tips

Be safe, legal, get a free ride

It's best to leave fireworks to the professionals, but those who do use them should ensure that they're legal -- don't use those that explode or shoot off into the air -- and heed the following tips: Don't let children handle fireworks. Never reignite malfunctioning fireworks. For sparklers, use them outside only, avoid dry brush or other flammables, and don't point or throw them at anybody. Law enforcement agents may seize illegal fireworks.

Also, FREE vehicle tows and rides home are offered through Sunday for anyone too intoxicated to drive. Call Tow to Go at 1-800-AAA-HELP and ask for Scott Bros. Towing. Services are offered Keyswide.
