Finding outsider proves difficult
Governor continues to interview interim superintendent candidates

It may be harder than anticipated to find an outsider to run the Monroe County school district until a permanent superintendent is back at the helm.
Following the June 11 suspension of Schools Superintendent Randy Acevedo, Gov. Charlie Crist's spokesman predicted a candidate would be selected within a week. Nearly a month later, Crist still is interviewing candidates.
