Death row case comes to Keys

A man on Florida's death row for kidnapping, beating, robbing, raping and murdering a Miami Herald employee before dumping her body in Cudjoe Key nine years ago could be back in the Florida Keys soon.

Michael Tanzi, now 32, is on death row at the Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, but his attorneys will be in a Plantation Key court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing...
