That's right, it is 2009 but guess what- cell phones DON'T WORK during a big storm. I know, even I didn't think even the weather was involved in this witch hunt. Funny thing, after the last storm. They used a phone tree with teachers' personal cell phones and home numbers (not paid for by the school district) to make contact and get things going again. The teachers actually answered thier phones even though the caller id may have said (MCSD)and even took a moment to make the next call (on their personal phone) to alert the next employee in the phone tree. Amazing! Now when I hear this BS that people like Sunny Booker and all of the others in the 100K club who refuse to use their own cell phone for school business, it makes me sick. There are 13 schools situated all over this county. If you won't use your phone then stop in the nearest school and use a line. How about using the expensive laptop everyone got too. You are right, know one can force you to use your personal phone but now that wouldn't be "students success whatever it takes" would it?
