Knife-wielding man assaults ex-girlfriend

KEY LARGO -- Deputies arrested a Key Largo man Monday after he allegedly forced his way into his ex-girlfriend's car, beat her and threatened her and her sister with a knife, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Darius Shamar Kittle, 18, of Hibiscus Lane, was charged with two counts of battery, assault and burglary of a vehicle.
