Artistic Monroe County high school students have an opportunity to make some bucks this month, as does one school's art department.

The Florida Keys Commercial Fishermen's Association is offering a $200 prize for the best T-shirt design for its fifth annual Florida Keys Seafood Festival in January.

The students have until Monday to get their entry into the school office or to their art teachers.

The winner's school will also receive $200 for art supplies.

Vicki Gale, the seafood festival event coordinator, urges students to enter. "We know there is a lot of talent out there, so show us what you've got."
