TIMOTHY L. BROWN

King Captain Timothy L. Brown was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 30, 1959, and passed away peacefully at his home in Key West after a brief illness on Thursday. Oct. 29, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice "Joan" Hargrove Brown; his youngest sister, Jill "Pony" Burge; and his beloved pet for 22 years, Duke. He is survived by his father, Patrick Lavon Brown; beloved older sister, Tyna Oslie, and her husband, Bruce; niece, Angela Oslie-Whitfill, and her husband, Roy, and children, Connor and Kadance, all of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Daniel Oslie, and his husband, Jonathan Netek, of Manhattan, N.Y.; his longtime mentor and love, Auro Varani of Paris, France; his dearest and best friend, Bob Leiby of Key West; and his pets, Piquina and Star.

King Captain Timothy Brown always followed his dreams and lived life to the fullest. He was very handsome and charismatic, one of those rare individuals that people were instinctively drawn to, and with good reason, as he was so much more than just a pretty face. He had a great sense of self and a wicked sense of humor. He had a genuine smile that could light up a camera, a stage, a room, or a heart. He positively impacted so many lives and had so many friends and family who loved him and that he loved that we will have to wait for the book (or screenplay) to come out to name them all. You know who you are and how special you were in his heart.

Thanks for the memories, King Captain Timothy Brown. We love you and miss you. Long Live the King!

Memories that you may wish to share of him may be left at http://kingcaptaintimothy.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to AIDS Help.
