MARATHON
Skydivers here for weekend
The skies over Marathon were filled with parachutes on Friday, and will be so again today and Sunday.
That's because about 100 skydivers from the group Skydive Sebastian set up shop Friday at the Florida Keys Marathon Airport to conduct jumps all day Friday, today and Sunday.
Amanda Ownens, with Skydive Sebastian, said the jumping crews are starting about 8 a.m. each morning, and concluding at sunset.
The event was brought back to Marathon after a two-year hiatus.
