Mark your calendars for Wednesday for the school's annual Food for Thought Night. The Parent-Teacher Association sponsors this award-winning event in which parents can attend a session of their choice to learn more about the curriculum, computer programs, ways to help their child with reading, math and writing at home and more.
Sessions include one in Creole and another in Spanish. At 5:30 p.m., first-grade students will have their recycling projects in the cafeteria for a Recycling Fair. At 6 p.m. parents will attend their session while students gather for some fun activities.
A ticket from a session earns the whole family a free dinner with Chinese food being donated by the PTA. Prizes will be given away during the dinner. Your family will be home by 7 p.m. and have had a great evening at school.
So please be part of a great event and attend our Food for Thought events.
