Groups search for new home

Despite a decision last month to continue operations of the Key West Gay and Lesbian Community Center and expand its Internet presence, the center no longer will have access to a meeting room on Truman Avenue.

Some articles (such as this one), when listed on the front page of the on-line Citizen, and also on the Current Stories page, have a small conch symbol (http://images.keysnews.com/static/sigmark.jpg) attached to them. What's the significance of that?
