• A line of environmentally friendly products is now available in Key West through Melaleuca. This includes products for household cleaning, bath and body, beauty, dental, vitamins and supplements, and food and weight loss.
"It would not surprise me a bit if you never heard of Melaleuca," said Dave Ferry, the company's Key West marketing represenatative. "After all, we don't advertise on television or magazines. There's a good reason that we don't. When you buy a product at the grocery store, 63 percent of the cost of that product goes to advertise that product. Our customers order directly through the manufacturer."
Melaleuca sells household products that compete with grocery store and drug store brands. Ferry said the products are effective, safer for the environment with no phosphates, no fillers and super concentrated, and safe for the home with ingredients derived from nature instead of harsh chemicals.
A wholesale pricing program is available for customers who shop with the company every month.
