Accused drag racer faces jury

Big Pine Key woman killed in head-on wreck

The retrial of a 29-year-old Key West man whose alleged drag racing ended in a wreck that killed a woman is set to begin today after a hung jury was declared in November.

Maykel Ramos De La Torre was charged with vehicular manslaughter in the death of 50-year-old Andrea Jenneane Williams of Big Pine Key.
