


Percy M. Graham
Percy Maurice Graham, 73, of Chicago, passed away on March 6, 2010.
Maurice is survived by his loving and truly devoted wife, Kathy; loving mother, Carrie; sons, Patrick, Curtis (Ora), Greg Sr. (Patricia) and Thomas; daughters, the Rev. Dr. Gwendolyn (Hayward) Magby, Dana (Charlie), Marcia and Stevie; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sisters, Katherine, Jeanette, Jenola and Doris; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, cousins, in-laws and a host of good friends.
Maurice retired from the Greyhound bus company after having a distinguished career as a driver, trainer, public relations specialist and manager of training after more than 26 years. Eight years after returning to the Chicago Transit Authority, where he was a dedicated employee before joining Greyhound, he retired from a second career in 2001. Maurice was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and proud member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Key West, Fla., whose pastor is his daughter, the Rev. Dr. Gwendolyn Magby.
Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010, at the Doty Nash Funeral Home, 8620 S. Stony Island Ave., Chicago, IL 60617-2787.
Services were on Friday, March 12, 2010, with a brunch at 10 a.m. and the funeral at 11 a.m. at the Crerar Memorial Presbyterian Church, 8100 S. Calumet Ave., Chicago.
Burial was at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
