This was a given.

Some of us knew (and tried to tell the city commission at the time) that the Land Trust was a scam, specifically designed to line the pockets of Norma Jean Sawyer and her family. Frankly, it's a surprise it lasted this long. That can be attributed to the lack of oversight by the City of Key West (replete with it's multitude of Assistant this and thats). Only problem now is, turning this cash cow over to the Key West Housing Authority, which has for decades been this city's center for corruption. The only difference between the KWHA and the Land Trust is that the former is better at covering up its corruption. Once again, same circus different clowns.
