The Pigeon Key Historic District has 11 buildings on the national register of historic places. Guided tours of the island, its buildings and the island museum are available. Transportation to the island is provided by ferry service daily at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Admission and transport is $11 for visitors with a discount for Monroe county locals.
