TIB's Murcko celebrates anniversary

Deborah Murcko, assistant branch manager for the TIB Bank Key West Old Town branch, was recently recognized for her 10 years of service. She joined the bank in July 2000 as a teller. During her tenure with the bank, she has also held the positions of teller supervisor and operations manager before being promoted to her current position.

During Murcko's professional career, she successfully completed a number of financial courses, including the American Institute of Banking's Principals of Banking, as well as money and banking courses and accounting at the Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Conn.

Hunt named Zontian of the Month

Kathy Hunt has been selected as Zontian of the Month for July of 2010.

Hunt has been a member of the Zonta Club of Marathon since 2007. She has served as vice president and is currently recording secretary. She also chairs the Status of Women Committee, the ZFoods Committee, which once a month provides groceries to families in Marathon, and is part of the Human Trafficking and Fundraising committees.

Hunt recently returned from a weeklong Zonta International convention in San Antonio, where she met and worked with women from all over the world whose main mission is to improve the legal, political and professional status of women.

Sloppy Joe's names employee of month

Sloppy Joe's recently presented the Jean Klausing Employee of the Month Award to Suzanne Humphries.

Humphries has been a bartender at Sloppy Joe's for almost seven years and was selected for her outstanding performance and dedication to her work.
