


JUNE E. GWYNN
June Edenfield Gwynn, 84, of Key West, Fla., died peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2010.
Mrs. Gwynn was born July 3, 1926, in Savannah, Ga., the daughter of the late J. Collie and Maude M. Edenfield.
She was chief deputy clerk for the Monroe County Clerk of Circuit Court in Key West for 34 years, until 2004.
She was married to James T. Gay for 23 years, until his death in 1966; to James D. Holland for 12 years, until his death in 1983; and to Albert Gwynn for 10 years, until his death in 1996.
She is survived by a sister, Grace (Bob) Arnold of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Karen (Darrell) Young of Lancaster, S.C., and Nancy (Danny) Boyle of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; son-in-law, Mike Mitchell of Winter Springs, Fla.; two granddaughters, Stacey (Chris) Luke of Coral Springs, Fla., and Cindy (Chad) Cutcher of Clermont, Fla.; three grandsons, Roland J. Fontes of Pembroke Pines, Jason Young of Lancaster and Matt (Jenn) Young of Greenville, S.C.; a great-granddaughter, Ava June Young of Greenville; five stepchildren; one niece and four nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Mitchell; a brother, James Edenfield; a sister, Emily "Tootsie" Best; one stepdaughter; and one stepson.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Key West United Methodist Church, 600 Eaton St., in Key West.
The family will receive friends at Mrs. Gwynn's home following the memorial service.
