Quit Bitching !

Health care is a major issue since most working class people can't afford it . $315,000 is nothing to bitch about ! The Monroe County Health Dept. needs every penny they can get so that they can continue to help our citizens . Our Commisioners should grant this request for these funds with plesure since thats all they're asking for !

If $315,000 is such a paltry amount to you, perhaps YOU should

donate it then. You seem to think it's nothing. Obviously Monique thought that was a pittance as well. What IS it with you people? You want $300,000 here, $200,000 there, plus new buildings. Do you understand the meaning of HARD TIMES?

They all have an excuse. CUT THE SPENDING, for heavens sake!

We're really getting tired of these departments coming to the BOCC one by one, asking for more and more money. This increase is what? Over 30% more? Outrageous.

Property values are down,

Property values are down, but the commission wants to charge more. WHY CAN'T YOU CUT SPENDING. MAKE THE TOUGH DECISIONS YOU WERE ELECTED TO DO. THIS IS SICKENING.
