Anthropologist calls Keys discovery of 2,400-year-old bones 'exciting'

Human bones found in a Marathon resident's yard about five months ago are older than previously thought. A lot older. About 2,400 years older.

Radiocarbon dating test results suggest the collection of about 30 bone fragments found after a 92nd Street resident unearthed them while digging in her yard date to 220 to 400 B.C., the Monroe County medical examiner said Wednesday....
