2011 sets deer roadkill record
Vehicles kill 150 Key deer

For the endangered Key deer, 2011 was the bloodiest year on record when it comes to motor vehicles striking them dead.

Cars and trucks picked off 150 of the wild small-in-stature deer, whose bucks weigh about 75 pounds and stand under 32 inches at the shoulder.
