Middle Keys Relay events
A Monroe County Sheriff's Office team will have two fundraisers to support the American Cancer Society.
Cops for a Cure will donate proceeds from a car wash and yard sale to the Middle Keys Relay For Life.
The car wash will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Marathon substation, 3103 Overseas Highway. Publix will give away a free doughnut with every car wash.
The yard sale will be at 7 a.m. March 11, also at the Marathon substation.
The Middle Keys Relay For Life event will be at 5 p.m. March 30 at the Marathon Community Park and Amphitheater.

'Clothes for a Cause' on Saturday
A clothing exchange fundraiser will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Help Yourself Cafe, 829 Fleming St.
Each donated, "gently used" item will be sold for $2.
Bring your donations of clothes and shoes for women, men and kids, or just come browse. All items should be in good condition.
Proceeds will benefit the Help Yourself @ Home organic market and The Guana Co-op, which helps children in Guyana, one of the poorest countries in the Western hemisphere.

'Psychic Night' foretold
Literacy Volunteers of America will hold its second annual "Psychic Night" fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. March 9 at the BottleCap Lounge, 1128 Simonton St.
Featured attractions will include palm readers, tarot card readings, psychic readings by local psychics (including a pet psychic) and a mentalist. There also will be a Chinese auction, Wheel of Fortune, drinks, food and fun, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Literacy Volunteers.
