State grants $50Msewer money

Gov. Rick Scott signed a $70 billion state budget Tuesday that will pave the way for Florida Keys advanced wastewater systems that have been years in the making.

The governor signed off on a $50 million allocation for Keys projects, the first installment of $200 million that the Legislature appropriated in 2007, but never allocated.

Lets see how much money FKAA can waste

Those at the FKAA must be having a good laugh. Last project they paid an outside inspection firm an average $1000 per home connection to do field inspections. A full time employee at 65k could have done the job. Wonder what they will piss away money on this time. Want the most expensive system money can buy? Have the FKAA, A STATE AGENCY provide it.
