Delays on Seven Mile Bridge
Traffic may be delayed between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday on the Seven Mile Bridge due to a film production crew shoot for Mercedes-Benz USA.

Any bridge closures are not expected to exceed 10 minutes, said Troxel, adding that scheduling for film production shoots are subject to changes due to weather or other circumstances.

Education dept. seeks public's input
The Florida Department of Education seeks public input through Tuesday on additional waiver requests available for states that received Elementary and Secondary Education Act flexibility waivers from the U.S. Department of Education in the first round.
The first waiver permits states to discontinue Adequate Yearly Progress determinations, and the second waiver permits local school districts to serve Title I eligible high schools with a graduation rate of less than 60 percent and are priority schools even if the school has a lower poverty rate than other Title I schools. For more information about the waivers, go to http://www.fldoe.org/esea/default.asp#addWaiver and see a memo to school superintendents.
