Molina named employee of quarter

Griselle Molina, Internet banking representative for First State Bank of the Florida Keys, was named employee of the quarter for her professionalism, initiative, work ethic and positive attitude, according to a press release.

Molina joined the bank in 2007 as a switchboard operator. She progressed to deposit operations representative in 2009 and to her current position as Internet banking representative in 2011.

Philipson marks anniversary

Southernmost Insurance Agency recently honored Barry Philipson on his fifth anniversary as the company's top producing agent.

Philipson joined the agency in 2007 with more than 10 years of experience in commercial and residential property and casualty insurance. He has extensive knowledge of Key West properties and the intricacies of various insurance carriers.

He currently serves on the board of Fair Insurance Rates for Monroe (FIRM) and has served on the boards of The Trophia Butterfly Foundation, Key West Business Guild and Metropolitan Community Church.

Bailey elected vice president

Lori Bailey recently was elected vice president for the Marathon Business and Professional Women (BPW). She was installed at an installation banquet May 3 at the Marathon Yacht Club.

Bailey is a vice president at First State Bank of the Florida Keys, and is active with the Florida Keys Contractors Association, Lower Keys and Marathon Board of Realtors, Women's Council of Realtors, Marathon Chamber of Commerce and Rotary.

Mayberry wins marketing award

Constant Contact Inc., a marketing adviser to small organizations worldwide, recently awarded one of its All-Star Awards to Doug Mayberry Real Estate for "achieving exemplary marketing results" and ranked the company among its top 10 percent of Constant Contact's international clients.

The company commended Mayberry for his e-newsletter, which provides local real estate information to more than 2,000 people each month.

Sanchez is utility's standout

Keys Energy Services named Diana Sanchez its outstanding employee of the second quarter for 2012.

Sanchez has worked for the utility for three years and serves as an accounting representative in the finance department.

Sanchez was born and raised in Key West and is a graduate of Key West High School and Florida Keys Community College.

Her name will be engraved on a perpetual plaque and she will receive a $250 bonus and an extra day off.
