Lillie Mae Kolhage, 91, of Key West, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 7, 1921, in Key West to the late James H. and Elizabeth Carey.

She was formerly a member of Fleming Street Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Kolhage; brother, James Carey; sister, Henrietta Powell. Surviving is her son, Danny L. (Kathleen) Kolhage of Key West; grandchildren, Daniel L. (Kristine) Kolhage of Lansing, N.C., and Patricia (David) Burgos of Key West; great-grandchildren, David Kolhage, Alexis Lovette, Scarlett Williams, Taylor Kolhage and Rachyl Williams; niece, Linda (Richard) Curry; nephews, Joseph and Timothy Powell.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012, at Key West United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Key West City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday at the church. The Dean-Lopez Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
