Key West: Under new management

Why did the Commisssion not reduce the salary

to a reasonable rate when given the opportunity ? That inflated figure was part of Scholl's payoff for the change in flight patterns.The City manager of Miami doesn't make that much. As for Ed Swift speaking and his comments, he should shut up until he PAYS HIS PAST DUE TAXES. Or kick KW some payment on the 8 mil we lost because of him and Weekly; he and his company have become a liability to the city.

Agree totally. When Swift pays his taxes, AND his past due

licensing and rents to the city, then he can open his trap. I don't think anyone in KW has any respect for this man whatsoever.

And indeed, it was my understanding the outrageous salary for Scholl was because of an offset of some sort in his military income?

Mechanic

Vitas is a mechanic. He'll probably fix what's wrong with the city, but don't expect him to lead us to a sustainable future. For that, we need to roll the commission.
