New schools super chosen today
Jara, 3 other candidates make final pitches to crowd in Marathon

Low employee morale is the greatest challenge facing the Monroe County School District, Superintendent Jesus Jara told a crowd Wednesday night ahead of today's board vote on whether he has a future in Florida Keys education.

"As the money is getting better, it's not getting to the place where we all want it to be," Jara said, fielding a question from an audience...

OH PLEASE NOT JESUS!!!!!!!!!!! MORALE ISN'T LOW BECAUSE OF MONEY, MORAL IS LOW BECAUSE OF TREATMENT OF STAFF BY ADMINISTRATION. NO TO JARA!!!!!! HE HAD A CHANCE AND HAS MADE NO DIFFERENCE IN SOLVING THE PROBLEMS THAT PLAGUE THE SCHOOLS, HE JUST SET THEM UP FOR FUTURE FAILURE, LET SOME ONE ELSE CLEAN UP HIS MESSS!!!!!!

having to choose between the best of the worst, we are doomed to another round of rotating screwups. Even the Randy supporters see the weakness and they gather thier troops hoping to restore the Bubba dynasty. I am wondering if the meeting will include games of skill required for the job.....beer pong perhaps.....and a written test ,...creative resume writing ; and lets not forget the sliding between the sheets event.
