Porter: I'm on board

Mark Porter, chosen by the Monroe County School Board as the county's first hired superintendent, said Friday that he has started contract negotiations with the district and plans to sign a deal by next week.

"We met this morning to begin a conversation," Porter said a few hours before he and his wife, Jane, were due to return home to Woodbury, Minn.

Even if he does a good job, The Board will find a way to discredit him. Its the Board that needs to go.

John Dick will support it -even this its wrong

Sadly, Dick, who was elected to right wrongs has now become the perpetrator of cover ups and misuse of funds. Jara needs to take the severance and get out, if he has any brains at all that is.

Jira

I just read in the KEYNOTER where Jesus Jira said he will stay until January if he does not find another job. He claims he has a letter from the governor that states such? What about Mr. Genitals? Is he leaving or staying? Did he lie or not? So many questions and so few answers, I guess we need to ask our attorneys at $325 an hour?

term that the elected superintendent would've served. As of November, the elected superintendent would be out anyway.

If that is Jara's plan, it really just shows him as the bottom feeder that he is. He's done nothing but coddle the administration of the MCSD, and screwed up everything he touched, including his 'work' with the union. Why would anyone stay where they're CLEARLY not wanted??? Only a dolt or a creepy money grubber would do that. His record isn't going to help him get another job, that's for sure.
