Mark Porter, chosen by the Monroe County School Board as the county's first hired superintendent, said Friday that he has started contract negotiations with the district and plans to sign a deal by next week.
"We met this morning to begin a conversation," Porter said a few hours before he and his wife, Jane, were due to return home to Woodbury, Minn.
...If that is Jara's plan, it really just shows him as the bottom feeder that he is. He's done nothing but coddle the administration of the MCSD, and screwed up everything he touched, including his 'work' with the union. Why would anyone stay where they're CLEARLY not wanted??? Only a dolt or a creepy money grubber would do that. His record isn't going to help him get another job, that's for sure.
