Assisted Living

I'm from Massachusetts. What can I do to sign up for this Assisted Living Facility in Key West, FL - Sounds totally AWESOME!!! - What are the guidelines to apply for someone who lives out of state. I'm totally serious about this!! Thank you for any input that you can give me.

Marry a Conch who works for

Marry a Conch who works for The City, The County, Mosquito Control, The School District, the Aquaduct Authority, or Keys Electric. It is the only chance you have.

Just get on with building a park.

Only one firm answered the RFP? That should tell our commissioners something: This is a costly and dumb idea.

Time and again, at meeting after meeting, the public has made it clear that they want as much green space as possible to offset the mega-yacht marina at Truman waterfront. Let's just get on with it.

Build a park. Send the old folks and the used car salesmen looking to profit from them packing.

Really?

If it has to be built, place it closer to the high-end marina so they can be used as hotel/condos.

Don't be FOOLED!

Don't be FOOLED, just look at the names and people on the committee. All their carreers they have NEVER done anything for this community unless it is to their parsonal benefit, whether it be money or in this case a place for them and their family in the future. We have all seen the cost to be in this facility and I can assure you 90% of the residents in this community can not afford this, this is for the wealthy ONLY. And if you don't know the people involved, lat me throw out a few names, Ed Swift, Sandy Higgs and Bookie Henriquez, etc, ect. We need to let them know that this facility does NOT need to be on that valuable property at the Truman Annex so that the developer and management make boo koo's of money on another sweetheart deal from the City for a L O N G Term lease. Don't be FOOLED again!
