Many types of pride

It was just a few weeks ago when the late afternoon sun beat down on Duval Street and the people mostly sat or stood on the shady side, closer to Whitehead than to Simonton, waiting for the parade to begin.

There were some cool floats, there was the chief of police, Donie Lee, and two other cops on horseback, and many hands holding a giant rainbow flag, among other displays...
