CANDIDATE FORUMS

• Homeowners Association hosts candidates

The Island of Key Largo Federation of Homeowner Associations will hold the first of two candidate forums today at the Key Largo Library community meeting room, Mile Marker 101.4. A meet-and-greet starts at 5:30 p.m. with the forum beginning at 6 p.m. sharp. Snacks and refreshements will be available. For more information call Pauline Klein at 305-451-1906.

• Monroe County Democrats host speakers

The Monroe County Democrats, on July 25, will continue its Democratic Speaker Series with Gloria Romero-Roses, candidate for Congress, District 26 at Shanna Key Irish Pub & Grill, 1900 Flagler Ave., Key West.

Each meeting showcases a different office and a Democratic candidate. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social half-hour, followed by an introduction highlighting the office itself. The candidate then addresses the audience.
