Druckemiller to go before grand jury

Former Monroe County Technical Services Director Lisa Druckemiller is expected to testify before a grand jury today about the alleged theft of county-owned iPads and iPhones that she reportedly sold to individuals.

Testimony ought to be very interesting.

Sounds like this low-rung public worker ain't gonna take the wrap for the uppidy politicos. The public was expecting her to plead the fifth, but surprisingly, she's ready to sing. Chirp away! Atta girl, take the whole ship down with ya!

My Predictions

From the comments of her lawyer, my guess is she will say some variant of "my bosses made me do it". The state will give her immunity to testify against them, but there won't be enough other evidence to convict them, and everyone goes free. Also, even though Grand Jury proceedings are supposed to be secret, it will take less that week for us to hear what happened.
