Say NO!

Ponce De Leon has NO significant value or history With the City of Key West. There are a lot of individuals that we could or should recognize that have done great things for our City.

How about

Capt Tony gazing out over the harbor with that devious tinkle in his eye. .... Now he is real kw history and truly stood for one human family

Stupid

Another bad decision by Rudy Molinet and HARC. Talk about people with egos. So what if Ponce de Leon didn't land here. It would be a great addition to Mallory Square. Put a plaque at the bottom that says he landed in the Tortugas so that dumb tourists don't think he landed here.

Statues 2.0 aka The Sirens of Horror

Rumor has it that the revised plan is to erect a statue of Swifty at Mallory Square pointing towards the Steamplant condominiums. Ten yards away will be a statue of Higgs pointing towards the proposed assisted living facility at the Truman waterfront. A few steps further will be a statue of Cates pointing towards his proposed human petting zoo on Stock Island. And the crown jewel in the center of the statues will be Saunders riding a dragon shaped jet ski pointing to his newly leased sea floor just a few hundred paces to the west of Mallory Square. The collection of statues will be known as the Sirens of Horror.

Don't forget a spot for

Don't forget a spot for Spottswood pointing to the mega marina no one in town wants, but which he will build on our public property.

Truly the "Four Horsemen "

perhaps they put on the "Duck" and it'll be mobile.
