Are you for real

What is wrong with you Dennis Ward only one person Druckmiller . What about all the others? You said you wanted the big fish she's the little fish.

Doesn't anyone pay attention?

Dennis Ward doesn't control the Grand Jury. It was the decision of a citizen's Grand Jury that decided the charges. Why there are only two charges I certainly wonder about, but Ward had nothing to do with that. Grand Jury testimony is secret and none of you armchair whiners know what went on or what else may come out of the grand jury. Ward didn't decide the charges, the grand jury did. How dense are you people?

Other policies

that need reviewing/revision are retirement benefits for those found guilty of stealing from their employer.

Once convicted of theft

from the county she loses her pension.

Unless

Unless she works the same kind of deal as the FDLE agent.

Talk About Your Low-Hanging Fruit

Two counts?

Really??

Isn't recieving stolen

Isn't recieving stolen property a crime anymore?

The state has to prove all elements of the crime.

Most crimes have multiple elements and the state has to prove all the elements. For example, many crimes have an intent element. If a person did not have an intent to commmit the crime, like not knowing the item they bought was stolen, then no crime happened and no crime can be proven. If someone had good reason to know that the item they were being offered was stolen, then they could be charged and possibily convicted. In the instant situation, proving intent is not likely.

Heads will roll

Heads will roll. I am sure she spilled her guts in the Grand Jury room. Before it is over, this will be the top news of 2012.

It is, but you have to know

It is, but you have to know or suspect it was stolen. I believe it can be hard to prove so they probably will not pursue it. By the way, this morning there were two other comments on this article about the election and bubba privilege, so what happened?

I noticed last week, the entire comment section about the

DA meetup disappeared. Is Ms. Vogel trying to shut everyone up?

One was mine
