The School Board cannot fire an air conditioning mechanic because the initial complaint against him was incorrectly filed, an administrative law judge has found.

By taking the wrong legal route, the board must dump the complaint and rehire Thomas Amador to the $44,926-a-year refrigeration mechanic job he has held since April 2007, the recommended order said.
