Michael Cunningham will host a meet-and-greet from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Square One, in Duval Square, 1075 Duval St., Key West.

CANDIDATE FORUMS

• Hometown PAC

Hometown PAC will hold a forum for the primary election from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Conch Flyer Restaurant, on the second floor of the Key West International Airport. The following candidates are to be there: Democrats running for state senator and Mosquito Control District 3; Republicans vying for state representative; members of both parties running for sheriff; and candidates for School Board District 3, a nonpartisan race. Food, cash bar offered. Parking available after 5 p.m. in the employees' lot, on the second level.

• Clerk of court, state attorney

The Key West Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a public forum for candidates running for Monroe County clerk of court and state attorney at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the DoubleTree Grand Key Resort, 3990 S. Roosevelt Blvd. Cash bar offered. RSVP at 305-294-2587.

•Almost all candidates

The Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce will host a public candidates forum from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Boondocks bar/restaurant at Mile Marker 27.5, Ramrod Key. Featured will be primary candidates for: Mosquito Control, state representative, supervisor of elections, state senator, School Board, sheriff, clerk of court and state attorney. • Democrats' speakers series

The Monroe County Democrats will continue their Democratic Speaker Series with School Board District 2 incumbent Andy Griffiths and candidate for sheriff Tom Peteck at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Shanna Key Irish Pub & Grill, 1900 Flagler Ave., Key West. Each meeting takes place at Shanna Key and showcases a different office and Democratic candidate.

• Homeowner associations' event

The Island of Key Largo Federation of Homeowner Associations will hold a candidates forum for the general election at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 10 in the community meeting room of the Key Largo library, Mile Marker 101.4. Snacks and refreshments offered. Call 305-451-1906 for details.

• All candidates invited

The Upper Keys Business and Professional Women will host a political forum for all candidates running for office in Monroe County at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Hilton Key Largo, Mile Marker 97. Cash bar offered. Tickets bought ahead of time are $40, $45 at the door. Call 305-522-1697 for details.
