Let's see: the choice is to elect someone who was arrested for a DUI and completed that program, arrested for a battery and completed that program, now files a bankruptcy which includes local creditors who get none of their money returned. She wants to mange taxpayers money as an elected official? Why would anyone think she could manage county money when she can't manage her own? The other choice is to elect someone who manages a family and a business and has never been arrested! No brainer here!

I would like everyone to know the State Attorney Dennis Ward is not as he appears. Did you know that he is great friends with the defense attorney Ed O'Donnell. Mrs. O'Donnell held the bible as Dennis Ward was sworn in. Yet Mr. Ward has yet to release this information as a reason why his office could not prosecute Nicolas Ferro in the murder of Marques Butler. He blamed the conflict of interest on a few of his staff. Mr. Ward has been seen laughing and conversing with the O'Donnell's in front of the Butler and Hall families at the court house during the trial. That was a slap in the face and his lack of professionalism has to be questioned. Do we really want him as State Attorney, I think not. A complete story was to be published in the Blue News Paper today, but it was't, I am guessing that Dennis from the Blue News Paper is backing this individual. This article did not make it time for the election so I am hoping that my story can be fowarded and shared with the community. Also, during the trial in March, Ed O'Donnell was planning a campaign party for Dennis Ward which was held on March 26th at Joe's Stone Crab in Miami Beach and he personally donated to Mr. Ward's campaign fund. Hmmmmmm, I wonder if the family of Nicholas Ferro also contributed? Copies of the email invitation have been circulating around Key West recently and was forward to Key West from someone in the Miami-Dade area, the too know this is wrong. I am one of many who are appauled and saddened by the contents of the email. Mr. Ward boasts of successful convictions of murder, rape, drug offenses however he has failed to successfully handle the murder of Marques Butler. Mr. Ward obviously has placed his personal interest above his professional abilities. There is so much more to this story.....It is impossible to tell the complete story on this thread. But beleive me you do NOT want Mr. Ward to be re-elected. I think the community needs to question his ethis and agenda, this display is morally and ethically a slap in the face to the Butler and Hall family and also to the community. One day you may find yourself in their shoes and could you really trust a state attorney with these questionable work ethics. Please THINK before you vote.

Let's see, she's running for a taxpayer paid elected board (with benefits) to decide how and when to kill mosquitos, a board with a history of gross overspending and malfeisance, a board whose fuctions could easily be done by a single county supervisor at substantially less cost (not counting the cost of the elections). Her financial background is perfect!! Oh, and no need for employee disciplinary proceedings, she can just beat them up if they get out of line. It's a win-win all around!
