State: More units OK at Peary Court
Department of Economic Opportunity supports higher density for project

When the development proposal for Peary Court came before the Key West City Commission on Tuesday, some commissioners were surprised to find the density of the project had increased from eight units per acre to nine.

The matter was tabled because legal ads for the development discussion included the lesser number.

Ah, the chickens are coming

Ah, the chickens are coming home to roost. Thanks to everyone who voted for Rick "i take the fifth" Scott. His anti environment, pro development arms will have a long reach. This is nothing, wait till they resurrect the high rise hotel at the airport and permit 500 units at Wistria Island. Thousands more ROGOs coming our way. ( well, not to us, but to the connected developers). Get used to the traffic during the current construction. Soon it will be like this all the time. The voters made the choice, now the voters will live with the outcome.
