Proposed charter change is off ballot

The Key West City Commission unanimously voted to undo an action it took last week, by voiding a change to the City Charter that would have come before voters for approval or disapproval in November.

The proposed change would have eliminated the current practice of having voters approve all purchases or acquisitions of property, ranging from rights of way to entire buildings...
