Housekeeper accused of stealing two checks

KEY LARGO -- A Fort Lauderdale woman was arrested Wednesday after allegedly stealing two checks from a one-time Key Largo employer, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Office.

Carol Barrett, 52, was charged with two counts of uttering a forged check, two counts of possessing a forged check and grand theft.
