What's in it for Ed?

Since when does Ed Swift give a rats behind about "the will of the public"? What a hypocrite? Did he ask what the public thinks about larger cruise ships and widening the channel? What about the massive and unsafe duck tours he is cramming into our streets? How will the other location cause people to "feel isolated?". If Ed is concerned, then provide a shuttle downtown. I used to support this and voted for it. However, now that I consider the increased traffic and the fact that this is not the best use for the land, I think if should be moved elsewhere. I wonder what Swift's game is here. I may be jaded, but I just don't believe he is only trying to help people.
