Mystery sheen alarms marina residents

Dock workers and houseboat residents are puzzled and distressed by a mystery sheen that appeared in the waters of Garrison Bight during the weekend.

The source of the pollution has not been determined.

Response less than stellar

The response of the Coast Guard in this latest incident was less than stellar. Walking on the the docks and merely observing the widespread slick in the the marina contributes nothing to the identification of the source of the fuel that is still very evident. It's still out there this morning.
