Bug board approves tax hike
Commissioners pledge to seek budget cuts; consider lowering their own salaries

The bug board tentatively agreed Wednesday night to increase the property tax it will collect in the 2012-13 fiscal year by 6.9 percent, but its staff will continue to look for cuts before the final budget hearing next Wednesday in Marathon.

Look for cuts!!

The staff will continue to look for cuts. Are we really suppose to believe that? The bug spray people are fat Key Cats, just look at the palace they reside in. We pay half as much for Bug sprayers as we do for the School Board! This is a over the top fat cat place to work and for what? Next time we vote we need to really consider throwing out the elected officials on this board because they are part of the problem and have little business expertise.
