Your comment is incorrect and unfair to our friends at The Citizen. It's incorrect because the story is very newsworthy. This was one of the biggest stories of the decade in Key West. There's great local interest-- which is the assignment of a local newspaper. Also, there's the question of whether or not Acevedo has fulfilled the conditions of his probation. Was he seen at local bars associating with known "bubbas" and imbibing? Other questions are outstanding, as well. Has he paid due restitution? A lot remains to be reported.
